Strong medical training systems are the backbone of strong healthcare systems. This initiative supports the full educational infrastructure of UroMissionsWorks’ mission activities, the components that happen in lecture halls, conference rooms, and research meetings, just as much as in the operating room.

Your contribution funds grand rounds sessions wh ere complex patient cases are analyzed in depth with residents and attending physicians, structured didactic lectures covering core urologic principles and emerging practices, curriculum development support for partner residency programs, and collaborative research activities – including protocol development and academic publication, that strengthen the academic standing of physicians in underserved training environments.

Medical training is an investment with a long return horizon. A resident trained well today will practice for 30 or 40 years. Your support today compounds into decades of better care.

Our Story

The physicians who participate in UroMissionsWorks missions do so because they believe in something larger than their own practice. The idea that the skills and knowledge they have spent decades developing belong not just to their own patients, but to every patient who could benefit from them.

Since its founding in 2017, UroMissionsWorks has grown from a single physician’s personal commitment into a structured, multi-regional mission with established training partnerships across three continents. That growth has been powered entirely by volunteerism and donor generosity, no government grants, no institutional subsidies, no paid staff.

Supporting this mission means supporting a model of healthcare that is sustainable, physician-driven, and focused on building lasting capacity rather than creating dependence. We are grateful for every donor who makes that model possible.
